Cowpet Bay

Cowpet Bay

Cowpet is a great little beach with crystal clear water. It offers a peaceful ambiance yet is well developed, this provides a unique atmosphere of quiet charm and convenience to restaurants, bars, gift shop and watersports. Lined with coconut trees Cowpet is a nice choice. The water is usually very calm. The central swimming area is sandy, with rocky areas on the sides. Good snorkeling is to be found along the rocks. There are several great restaurants in the area for enjoying lunch and drinks. Cowpet is a favorite with frequent island visitors.

Cowpet Bay

Beautiful little bay with one exception. Dogs, although the condo's do not allow dogs, the beach is an all together different issue. Watch where your walking or you might step in something awful!

Snorkeling - Wow

Dozens of palm trees made for a pretty shoreline and lots of shade. Several condo developements around on the hillside. Water was calm. The beach was mostly sandy, rocks on one side in the water. Kids enjoyed seeing all the iguanas hanging out in the grass over by the condos. Went snorkeling along the left side when facing the water and at first it was just small fish and not much to see but then further out - Wow. Saw lots of big urchins, big fish, schools of smaller fish and a nurse shark. Pretty cool.
