Couples are judged on Talent, Fashioning of Swim wear and Evening wear and Speech. The winning couple reigns over the Children’s Carnival.

Arts Alive - Bella HristoviaSt. Thomas, Tillett Gardens Arts Alive is a concert series that has organized classical concerts and non-classical concerts — a total of more than 100 performances of the finest music performed by internationally acclaimed musicians in a variety of genres. Events take place at Tillett Gardens on St. Thomas in the Tutu area across from the Four Winds Plaza. Before each concert you can enjoy ‘the Prelude’ from 6pm to 7:30pm which includes live local jazz and tapas for $25. Concerts start at 8pm and concert tickets are $30. St. Thomas CarnivalSt. Thomas, Fort Christian Parking Lot 6:00pm Event: Opening of Carnival Village. Carnival Village is the heart of Carnival activities. Each year the Fort Christian parking lot is converted into a Village, complete with 30+ booths where food and drinks are sold and enjoyed. Each night live bands provide music and entertainment, from Monday through Saturday. It is common to find lots and lots of people at the village. The Carnival committee mentions a few thousand each night! It's a popular place for Carnival.

It involves many booths selling tasty Caribbean dishes, drinks, candies, pastries and other goodies which are not always available year round. Plants, produce and local arts and crafts are also on sale. Live music during some parts of the fair.
2nd Annual Ultimate Chef Challenge St. Thomas, Fort Christian Lawn 2:00pm World Accomplished Chefs from St. Thomas, St. John, St. Croix and Virgin Gorda will compete for the title of 2010 Ultimate Chef. Chefs will have 60 minutes to create 2 dishes from their mystery box of required items for each dish. They will have a community kitchen featuring Virgin Fresh produce from the Department of Agriculture and local farmers.

From toddlers to teens Virgin Islands kids twirl, perform and dance along Main Street for hours in troupes of colorfully costumed masqueraders. The parade route starts at Market Square and runs along Main Street to Lionel Roberts Stadium.
