THE 2017 U.S.V.I. CHARTER YACHT SHOW TO WELCOME HUNDREDS TO THE MARINA AT YACHT HAVEN GRANDE IN ST. THOMAS
October 19, 2017 – In the wake of Hurricanes Irma and Maria, the Virgin Islands Professional Charter Association (VIPCA) has remained resilient and plans to once again host the 2017 U.S.V.I. Charter Yacht Show in St. Thomas. Event attendees will enjoy 50 vessels on display, including the 93 foot (28 meter) M/V Suite Life and the 115 foot (35 meter) S/V Eros. A marine trade show and various competitions will also take place, all within the backdrop of the show’s venue – The Marina at Yacht Haven Grande, an IGY Marinas destination.
Additionally, a marine charter conference will be held on the first night with emphasis on “voluntourism” and how charter guests can participate in hurricane relief work while on vacation. VIPCA invites everyone to be a part of the solution to help get the Virgin Island back on its feet by booking a charter this season or donating to the CFVI Marine Rebuild Fund.
