St. Croix Activities: Diving The underwater world in the Virgin Islands is stunning and truly amazing! Swim among turtles, bright parrotfish, blue tangs, schools of fry and so much more. The most famous dive location is “the Wall”, an area just a quarter mile from shore that slowly slopes then drops thousands of feet. Wreck dives are popular on the west coast of the island. For inexperienced or those that do not want to venture far off shore, St. Croix offers some spectacular beach diving. Dive operators on St. Croix offer certification courses and dive trips. Dives for certified divers might run around $60-$75 and $65 for a night dive. Packages for 3 to 7 days of diving are available and range in price from $205-$500.
