General Impression

4.4

Smith Bay Park, established in 2006, includes both coastal and marine ecosystems of significant beauty and importance. The 21 acre park is home to an assortment of plants, birds and marine life. Managed by the Magens Bay Authority, future plans include facilities and possibly trails. The beach at Smith Bay Park, Lindquist Beach, is one of the most picturesque on the island; known for calm, amazingly blue water, and a great view of neighboring islands. It is the beach that visitors come to enjoy. Smith Bay Park is located on the east end of St. Thomas, off of Smith Bay Road. An entrance fee of $2 is being collected to help fund current and planned upgrades.

We’ve been recently, and all of the comments about the beach are true - beautiful, soft sand, and not too crowded. But $2 parking is long gone. $6 per car & $5 per person.
