My husband and I are wanting to visit the Islands for our 15 wedding anniversary. Which island is the best one to visit and where is the

best all inclusive resorts to stay? We want to be close to a great beach or on the beach. Please help so this will be the honeymoon we

never had!

I don't know if there are any "all inclusives" in the USVIs. The Wyndham, on St. Thomas, used to offer this, but it was expensive.

You're best bet is to stay at a condo and try the many good restaurants on the island. Also, visit St. John via ferry.

For a beach front condo try Sapphire Beach...a little run down, but right on the beach.....IMHO the East End is the best area because of the views of St. John & the British Virgin Islands.

Other resorts are Point Pleasant (I own there so I'm biased) that's near Coki & Smith Bay beaches, the Elysian, Secret Harbor & Cowpet Bay are also very nice....if money is no object try the Ritz Carlton.

Marriot - Frenchmans Reef and Morningstar offer all inclusive as an option - STT is a pretty good restaurant island though and you would miss a lot by not getting off property and seeing the island .

We'll be there for our 10th and doing a vow renewal on a beach at sunset and partying with island friends at a local hang out (Latitude 18).

There is "no best" island to visit. St Thomas has the avantage of St. Croix in that you can visit St. John easy by ferry. But you could always island hop from St. Croix.

I think the best place to stay in STT is the east end. Sugar Bay is a hotel, Crystal Cove has Condos as well as Sapphire village Crystal cove is right on the beach overlooking Tortola and St. John. Sapphire Resort has smaller rooms but is also right on Sapphire Beach. Go to VRBO to find a condo.

I would second Secret Harbour. Although no AI there is a restaurant on property plus many great ones in the area and a great quiet beach. Morning Star would be another beach hotel closer to town and then if on a shoestring, the Emerald Beach by the airport.

Well....I guess you could get a lot of answers to this question as far as "best"! If you could give us an idea of what you like to do, what kind of "must haves" are on your list, we could all help a little better with suggestions. We don't have may all inclusives to offer, but we have much much more! I think we'd all love for you to have the perfect honeymoon that you never had, and if you tell us a bit about what it is you like we can help you. The USVI is a fantastic place to honeymoon!!! But each of the islands has something different to offer. We'd love to match you up!

Bolongo Bay has an AI option and is right on the beach with at least one restaurant (Iggie') and I think another within walking distance. The beach there is beautiful. I agree though with the other posts, there are so many good places to eat, you might consider a condo with a kitchen for breakfast and lunch and going out to some of the great places around the Island to eat. There are several very good restaurants in Charlotte Amalie and in Frenchtown. Also in Red Hook (East End), Robert's at Elysian, Toad and Tart, Shipwreck Tavern, Wikked, and I'm sure other's can tell you about several others.

Renting a call gives you so much flexibility and will allow you to visit St. John (with car and everyone you can fit in it $40 round trip on the ferry) which would allow you to visit the many great beaches there (if you tire of the beautiful beaches in STT.
