Guys ,how difficult is buying a property at St Thomas ? ,i'm very interested in a property by Magen Bay Beach, already visit the location ,but i need information before i talk to a realestate guy overthere ,thanks for any hint on this ...

You could try posting this on the relocation forum (see link above right) but your questions would probably be better answered by a real estate agent and preferably the one who's handling the property in which you're interested. I'm not sure there's an answer to your question where ease of purchasing is concerned as that's as much of a variable here as it would be anywhere and is very much dependent on a host of factors. No matter who you talk to, insist on title insurance if/when you make an offer. It can sometimes be difficult to get clean title.

A complete inspection follewed by an army of contractors and tradesman. Aside from the typical items found in state side consturction, some points particualr to the USVI are: Type of constrution (wood/block). Terrmites!? Size of cistren? Size and condition of roof and H20 collection? Electrical sevice? Security? Huricane shutters.?
