vinow website problems

Good night all, I was just curious about something. When I go into the Accommodations section or Dining or things to do from work, which is an EXTREMELY OLD Internet Explorer version that all my 10000 plus co-workers also complain about, all the links and names work, but when I get home and turn on my most up to date Firefox the links just do not appear??? Again, try it on IE and then Firefox and the links are just gone and you are not able to click anything. This kind of puzzles me for many reasons, especially on how bad the old IE browsers are, but I just do not get why this great site will not pic up Firefox 13???? It seems it might deter some people from the site maybe, or if not push them away, they will not know the link is there. (PS, yes I work in the computer field and have everything updated so please don't go there, especially STTres, lol )

And sorry if this didn't make sense, lol. Basically, Firefox 13 is a million times better than IE 6 (6 is what we are stuck with at work). So from the main vinow page if I hover over St Croix or St Thomas or whatever and click the "Accommodations" drop down, I see everything, but in the old and nasty and horrible IE there are direct links to the website. For some reason it is not working in Firefox and I think this could be very helpful for Firefox users, which is of course the superior browser cool

Why would I "go there" when I know nothing about such technicalities. But since this seems to be a site issue then you should probably contact Islander directly. There's a "contact us" link at the bottom of this page lol.

Just4steven,

I have not been able to duplicate the issue you are having with Firefox. This leads me to believe you might have some sort of AdBlocking software installed on your home computer. This AdBlocking software blocks what it *thinks* are adverts. I would recommend if you have an AdBlocking software installed to add an exception for VInow.com and any other site you might be missing content from.

Oh, ok, makes sense, and I do have an adblocker on it so I'll check that out tonight
