My wife and I recently went down to St. Thomas on business and decided rather than staying with family on the northside, we would stay at Bluebeards since it was located in town and we had to go back and forth to the attorney's office. I used to live and work at Bluebeards back in the late 60's and early to mid 70's and was pleasantly surprised at the lack of change to the place after over 40 years. But unfortunately it is no longer a hotel, but a timeshare condos. They supplied us with a list of the vacant and for sale timeshare condo weeks and it was quite lengthy at well over 500. They asked at the front desk if we were interested in a condo, I replied " if it was a year around condo, maybe, but not a timeshare, those are sucker bets and I don't do sucker bets".

But all in all, it is still a wonderful place to stay and I think we paid about $150.00 a night after they added in the extra $25.00 per night for the new timeshare condo tax.
