The full Carnival schedule has been added to our Events Calendar

For quick reference the Parades are May 2nd (Children's Parade) and May 3rd (Adults Parade, Last Lap and Fireworks).

For all the other events like Culture and Food Fair, Calypso Shows, Opening of Village, Jouvert and so forth, including brief descriptions, starting time and place - click on Event's Calendar.

I assume the STJ events won't be available until next month?

Hi Chris,

We will check on the St. John schedule this week and see if its available, if not the whole schedule, usually they have the main event dates. Will let you know what we find out.

Thanks as always Islander.
We are particularly interested in Pan Jam this year as we are visiting around that time

Competition in Cruz Bay of all local Pan drum bands from surrounding islands. The bands range from local youth level to serious competitive adult groups. Great day if you like the music...and we do.

Sounds cool! Have you heard when that will be? We're doing a last minute trip in April or May...

Chris - waiting on reply for St. John schedule.

2beachbums - if you are on island at the end of April, the St. Thomas Carnival also has a steel pan event.

April 27th, 2014
Lionel Roberts Stadium, St. Thomas @ 5:00pm
Event: Steelband Jamboree. Enjoy the sweet sounds of pan at this Carnival favorite. School steelpan bands, church organizations and adult groups participate. A variety of music and arrangements can be enjoyed. The jamboree is a wonderful opportunity to support young musicians and to hear great steelpan music.

Chris - So far we've only received a confirmation that the St. John Festival parade will be held on July 4th. We are waiting for a call back on the other events.

Hi Chris,

We received a little more information today on St. John Festival. The Steel Pan show should be May 31st. And Food Fair June 22nd. Schedule should be available in full later this week, early next week.

Anyone know what time the parade is on May 3rd? We will be leaving Tillett Gardens and catching the 8:00 am ferry to Jost Van Dyke. Wondering if our way may be blocked off due to the parade.?

Thank for your help.

From Tillet Gardens to Red Hook is no where near the parade route -- the Parade is on Main St in Charlotte Amalie and rarely gets underway much before 11 am.
