I am a young professional currently working for a global financial services company in the northeast US. I am traveling down to STJ this Thursday for about a week and contemplating a new chapter in my life with a possible move to STJ. I was just looking for some advice on where to search for both jobs and apartments, I plan to check out Connections on my way into town. I will be staying at the Inn @ Tamarind the first few nights if not the entire time. I plan to use this trip as a scouting effort for my next trip down, which hopefully will be to stay. Does anyone have any information or direction to point me in?

Also, any business owners/managers around between 9/16-9/22 that would be willing to meet up with a motivated young professional who has seen the corporate world and realized a 9-5 desk job is not quite for him? Please let me know...

Thank you in advance to anyone who has any helpful hints at all.

Amerigo was a fictional island. Herman Wouk lived on Skyline Drive. He frequented island hotels and lived the island life to get his stories. Bill Dowling of Carib Beach dined with him often. He spent time at Pineapple Beach Hotel as well. Since Amerigo was fictional, a lot of hotels were used for the impetus of that hotel. There was a hotel on both Hassel and Water Islands at the time. He may have visited them as well.
