Planning my first visit to STT in February. All the review for this villa are old. Some I've read on this area are a little scary. I'm not looking for the Ritz. Just clean and safe.

The villa is in Pineapple Villages, I believe, which is in the same location as the newly opened Margaritaville in Water Bay, so many amenities on site.

Can't speak to the condition of the rental which is one of many townhouses but they keep the exteriors and grounds looking very nice.
It's next door to Coki Beach, Coral World and Point Pleasant.
You may wish to ask owners for updated pictures and reviews.

Alana is correct. Pineapple Village is in the same location as the newly opened Margaritaville. Now that the new hotel is open, there is 24/7 gated security and it is much safer then when those older reviews were written.

I don't want to hijack your post and turn it into a Margaritaville discussion, but any review that you have read about the area that is "Pineapple Village" before August 2015 was prior to the newly renovated hotel. Someone posted what the grounds currently look like just a few weeks ago. Here is a link to those pictures: https://flic.kr/s/aHskirrKhF

I met the owner of Blazing Villas at a condo association meeting years ago, I also own a unit at PP, but I cannot speak to the condition of his rental. As Alana said, you may wish to ask the owners for updated pictures and reviews.

Good luck with your search and enjoy your vacation. Don't hesitate to send me a private message if you have any questions.
