I'm wondering if there are any good Italian Restaurants on St. Thomas or restaurants that has some good Italian dishes/food on their menu?
Several years ago I ate at one in Red Hook. I don't know if it was Pesce at the time, but the group I was with was very disappointed in the food, as I was.

East end cafe in red hook, which was pesce was pretty good last time I ate there. Also virgilios downtown is a place we go back to on every trip.

I'm confused. The Italian restaurant in Red Hook is now named Pesce. So, several years ago when I ate there, is that when it was named East End Cafe(sounds familiar)?
Is it under new ownership with new chefs?
Online the menu looks about the same than it was several years ago.

I read up about Virgilios online and there are mixed reviews. I couldn't find their menu online. Does anyone have a link?

Randy's has a small but faily good Italian selection. I like their Chicken Parm.
I make excellent meat sauce/meat balls/sauce so difficult to impress me and not many do.
Tried the speg & meatballs at Pie Hole, once and it was lacking.

I have been to "Simply Italian" , a newer restaurant at Magens Point Resort, and enjoyed the food and service - it is well worth checking out - and not over priced at all.
