I'll be taking a ferry to Tortola the Saturday before Labr Day 2017. I'm arriving in the early afternoon and will not be making ferry reservations or purchasing round trip per reading many posts. I want to keep my options open between Native Son & Smith's for both trips. My Question is will it be a busy weekend for the ferry's because of the holiday?
Well, Labor Day isn't a BVI holiday, so there won't be a lot of Belongers rushing over there. On the other hand, September is still the middle of hurricane season, so you might need to be flexible with your dates and ferry service. There is an additional ferry company, Inter Island Boat Services, that goes to Tortola from Red Hook.
