Gonna spend a week in St Thomas in August and was wondering about the best casual places to eat/drink as well as the best activities. Wanna make the best of the trip for me and the better half. Your help is appreciated!
Mickey: Everyone has favorite spots. My own personal restaurant favorites include: Fish Tails, XO, Cariga's, Tap and Still, and ITP on the east end of the island.
As to what to do: go for a daysail, stand-up paddleboard, kayak, sit on a beach 'til your body gets fried...
Beach and bar hoppin is the things to do. Blue Beards Castle has three eateries, from very casual to dress shirt and slacks. Where ever you are staying should have suggestions for eating and doing things.
