St Thomas shopping

I will be cruising with Norwegian Cruise Lines in a couple weeks and will have one day in St. Thomas. I want to shop first thing in St. Thomas. Then if there is time I would like to see some of the Island. The Excursions from the cruise are all in the morning. Would there be an opportunity after shopping in Charlotte Amalie to get some kind of transportation to view the Island on our own?

Yes, both docking facilities in STT, in Havensight and Crown Bay have stores close to the docks and taxis to take you into town to shop.

You can also find a taxi for a private tour.

Surprised all the tours are for just the morning.

Hello MarBush,

You will find lots of shopping while in port for the day in St. Thomas. And you will find lots of taxis in the shopping areas waiting around and offering to take you on an island tour, to more shopping, to the beach.
