Hello Steve,

Take a look at the page on this website about fishing in the USVI, its at https://www.vinow.com/general_usvi/more_info/fishing/index.php. It has two tables, one for off shore fish and another for in shore; includes location, season and so forth. There is a second page with rules and regs.

What island(s) are you visiting?

Depends on your bait. Anywhere from sharks, rays, 'cuda to tarpon, permit, snapper, bones, etc.

Hello Patrick,

Where do you recommend for surf fishing on St. Thomas?

A couple months back you mentioned you went fishing early in the am at Magens. Did you fish from shore at Magens?

I'm going to St Thomas next month. I'm staying on the west end in Botany Bay and was wondering if I could take some gear with me to do some fishing from the beaches. What are your thoughts?
