Yes it's me again with yet another question. I have decided on the Villa Eureka with Caribe Havens because I can afford it and it seems you get a decent view for the price, so I took out my latest map I can find a 2007 from last trip and was looking at how to get to gift hill from the dock. It looks like maybe you go right from the dock and up route 104 past the Westin? Is that right? My map only shows me roads up to the Serenip apartments. Is Gift Hill right past the Westin on the same road as the Westin? And when I past the Westin do I have to make a turn somewhere besides the driveway to Eureka? lol Thanks for the help again....

There's a great interactive map right on the VINow website. https://www.vinow.com/stjohn/map_stjohn/

Click on the link I provided. If that doesnt work, go to the St. John drop down menu above the messages on this page just below the picture, and you'll see "maps" listed. Just click on that.

From the dock you can go 2 ways. One is past the Westin and then take a sharp left onto Gift Hill Road at the Fish Bay Road. The other is to take Centerline road and turn right just before the Myrah Keating Smith Clinic onto Gift Hill Road. Either way it is about 10 minutes from Cruz Bay.

Not all roads on STJ have names or route numbers, so your best best is to go by landmarks

I wil be honest, I always called it the Gift Hill Road, it may actually have a different name. I am not good with distance but it is not a long road really, maybe 2 or 3 miles????
It is an area as well.

It is a very easy area to get to. Just take Centerline and turn right just before the clinic, there is a food truck on the corner right before the road. That is Gift Hill road.

So if I get this right if I take Centerline that goes towards Coral Bay right? Not towards the Westin right? I thought Gift Hill was up past the Westin a little bit. I guess I need to go the other way towards Coral Bay right? Like all my questions? lol I'm just trying to remember from the last time we were there. We stayed at Poi Pu in chocolate hole. So we did go past the Westin. So Gift Hill is in the opposite direction. right? When I get off the ferry I want to go left right? Ok I will stop asking so many questions. lol

As I said in my first post, you can go either way. Just click on the map below and it will enlarge it and you can see the Gift Hill Road

Found it, as you said you can access Gift Hill rd. from both directions. And yes, it is a road name as well. What you can find and learn while at work. lol

The ' US Virgin Islands street Atlas' copyright 2006 Don River ISBN 13: 978-0-9793807-0-9 or use ISBN 10: 0-9793807-0-7
This is a complete atlas with aerial photos on one side of a page matched to road names, areas, beaches etc on the facing page.
I got mine at Dockside Bookshop in STT 340-774-4937 - It is a valuable aid even to long term residents as it shows every road , house and detail.

Do you have a greeter from Caribe Havens meeting you at the dock? If so, you will follow them to the villa. Somewhere I saw a video on On St John that will show you exactly the road you will be taking.

Okay I found the Jeep Cams I was looking for.

The first will show you the road past the gas station on South Shore Rd to and past the Westin. It turns left on Rock Ridge (just before Gift Hill Rd.) and takes you to Bongo Bongo

This one is of Gift Hill Rd

OMG, That was so cool. Thanks Toes in the sand......I laughed at the one going past the Westin and the little quotes he was saying. That was so funny. I did notice that no driveway has any house/villa numbers, mailboxes or names on them. I guess you kinda have to memorize where you are at. That was really neat anymore live cams would be great if someone can find them. I wished where on Gift Hill road I could see where Eureka is so I can see where I will be staying and it will look familiar to me when I get there.

Ok. Just a warning, the videos are a bit miss leading. The hills are steeper then they look. Not to be worried though. We just stayed in Rendezvous bay and drove 104 every day. My kids compaired some of the hills to roller coasters. Before we went I googled the address of our villa and had the correct route. Hopefully you will have a greeter who will take you to the villa the first time. Have fun.

How did you google the address I didn't see any road signs or villa addresses by the driveway? Does your villa rental management tell you before you get there what the address is? I think I will ask our rental manager what Eureks's address is.

Addresses don't work as they do in the states they are issued as building permits are taken out you could have to villas next door to one another but there hose numbers could be way off. The best bet is to go by land mark such as past the dumpster turn left after the third speed bump it is the next drive way
