Bluwater, how do you put a picture on a post like you have done for your trip reports?
I really like it when there are pictures included in trip reports. It helps to keep my interest to keep reading them.

Anyway, I thought it would be cool if people posted their favorite pictures from the USVI's. I took some, which I don't think are as good as I will get on my next trip, but I do have a favorite one.

If everyone just posted 1 picture, it wouldn't get too out of hand would it?

Bluwater, you can start and let us know how we do it!''

That's OK Chris, we like this season too! 🙂
I am just trying to make those of you who get to go to the islands in the Winter, feel even better about it !

I was trying to make the pictures smaller and I went too far. Its supposed to be of a snowy scene in our back yard.

I have that SAME picture California Girl... we love sitting at that picnic table at Trunk Bay while we drink our pina coladas and eat our burger from the stand and feed those crazy gulls... I always feel like I am in a corona commercial!!! I guess we share a "favorite spot" on Trunk for lunch!!!!!

... and TERRI, we LOVE Gallow's Point and the sunset views from there.... we stayed in 15D and had views of Cruz Bay and St. Thomas and were right by the pool.... this is making me crazy, I WANT TO GO BAAAACK!

I'll try posting a pic as soon as I figure out the whole photobucket thing!

Hey, On Island Time
Thats a beautiful picture, you should copyright that and make a postcard out of it. I know it would catch my eye on the rack.
Its a nice change from all the bluewater and daylight pics you see of the islands, not that they aren't nice.....its just different.

I call this one "Flyin' High in the VI" - - it's of my husband and my son at Trunk Bay:

I hope I did this right - - never posted a pic!

My husband sitting on Sugar Beach at Point Pleasant, solving the world's problems. 😉 I love how the sun rays are shining through the clouds. So peaceful.

Thanks CaliGirl, I've got a few hundred more too! I'm a photographer and weather is one of my favorite subjects...

Where in CA you from? My wife and I are back in CA now for about 6 more months before we move back to STT.

I'm in So. California in San Juan Capistrano, about mid-way between Los Angeles and San Diego. Moving back to STT? Awesome!

Re: STJ from the air >> alright I'll chime with in a couple of shots I actually took on our Air Sunshine flight from Virgin Gorda to San Juan on April 24, 2006.

East End, Hurricane Hole, and Coral Bay

Francis, Maho, and Cinnamon Bays I believe...

Jofus,
I checked out your STJ album on Webshots. Beautiful photos... I especially love the panoramas. I love making panoramas too.

No where near the quality of jmq, but it is your first glimpse of paradise.

May not be able to see it, but it is a short ferry ride a way...

JOFUS.... the underwater shots on your page are INCREDIBLE... what kind of camera do you have? I have never seen Christmas Tree worms and your pictures are so close and amazing! I've only been to STJ once and just snorkeled Trunk, Cinnamon, Hawksnest and Caneel but I never saw coral that looked quite as colorful as your pictures... where were you?
