Put on a bathing suit and wrap, pack the cooler and snorkel gear and head to the beach, any beach.

Anything but work . . . put on my fins, snorkel and mask and hit the beach. Oh yeah, maybe return my wedding ring to the jewelry store so it could be fixed by the end of my stay. Truly, soak up the view from anywhere (even thinking of the waterfront makes me tear up, I miss it so much) and chill.

There is a Buck Island off Tortola - it is privately owned, has a multi million dollar huge villa on its 43 Acres and is reportedly for sale.
The Buck Island off St Croix is a National Park and is famous for its reef and beach.
The Buck Island off St Thomas has the old light house for the harbor entrance, the Cartanser wreck that was placed in its cove for snorkeling and diving and is a wildlife refuge.

Thanks for the info zero.

I would drive to the beach and put "my toes in the water *** in the sand. Probably on Cinnamon Bay.

I'd step off of the plane...exhale the dirty Chicago air as hard as I could...the inhale as much of that sweet salty humid air as I possibly can. Then off to Roberts for a dark and coke and a bowl of She Crab soup, mmmmmm!!!

Probably jump in the pool at the villa before unpacking. It's kinda' a tradition.
Then onward with cold drinks on a warm Maho.
God I can't wait!!!

Off the boat in STJ, head over to the Beach Bar for a Lime In Coconut (then over to Shela's for some DGC!*)

*DGC = Damn Good Cooking!

Wow...great thread...but kind of hard too..:-)
My favorite "first" is getting off the puddle jumper at Beef Island with my feet on the ground and just that feeling of "I'm here"...Ahhhhh 🙂
