Okay, I'll say in advance that I'm embarrased to post this but what the heck, i'm among friends!!!

I'm a Kenny Chesney fan and saw him in concert recently and while I was looking at some recent pictures that were posted on this sight the song about the "Old Blue Chair" of his came on my ITunes and so I'm wondering... have any of you ever seen him while vacationing there or know any interesting tid bits of his living there? Just random thinking on my part, but I do love how he describes the feeling of being on St. John in that song and mentions Cinnamon Bay and it added so much to looking at the pictures! I think at least one of his albums was written in great part while he was there. Anyone know anything that will fuel my interest?

Ha Ha, Becky,
You just became part of the 'dueling drivel'!! Or, should I say "drooling drivel"??

I had to make it go 8 pages - it was dying a fast death - I just had to see how long one man could occupy air space. The answer is obviously "a long time"/

The t-shirt contest is over. The winner has been named, the prizes have been awarded. The winning shirts will be available soon in both Cruz Bay and Coral Bay. Go there and buy one.

I received an email from Kenny. He wants you all to stop posting on this thread and to get on with your lives. He moved on after Renee and he wants you to do the same. He said to tell you that he still wants you to go to his concerts and buy his cds. He also wants you to buy a lot of merchandise from him---it's available on his website. He thinks your time would be better spent surfing his website than wasting time here. He had some threatening words for me about the t-shirts and capitalizing on his popularity, but I think it's just talk.

Just trying to contribute a post so we can get 9 pages out of Chesney because 8 is certainly not enough.

I wonder if we can make this hit double digit pages? I think if we all work together we can!

I can contribute to that! I wonder if Kenny knows about this thread yet? I bet he'd love to read it.
I have to say that I've only recently started listening to Country music because I share an office with my boss and that's what she listens to. I like it now and Kenny is one of my favorites.

Well,
I've been busy writing the next Kenny hit. A sure fire, boot scootin' dancin' song. It's entitiled,
"High Steppin' 'Round the Cow-pies in my Flip-flops".

Eat your heart out Jimmy Buffet.

Oh yeah,
Yesterday I wrote another one entitled, "Don't Sit on a Flip-flop When Yer Naked".

That one was inspired by Jimmy Buffet........And, Connie.

Okay - I'll join in! Got to admit that I'm a fan of his music. I keep his "Be as you Are" CD in my car - it brings me right back to the islands the minute it starts playing! No interest in stalking the guy - though it would be neat to see him on island just for kicks. It's been 4 months since our last trip and I'm ready to "go down there and lighten up my load; drive a little while on the wrong-side of the road"!!!

Kenny is not short. He just uses that big old hat to hide the fact that he's from France. That's right, He's a CONEHEAD!!!

If you're looking for Willie Nelson, come on out to Colorado.

Oh-hhh
Guess it does no good to look for him at Charlie's in Paia.

If I was looking for Willie, I'd definitely look in Paia. I'd rather be there and not find him than be in Colorado and not find him. (Nothing against Colorado. Beautiful state. Just if I was given the choice...)

We did stop in Paia (we weren't stalking Willie) It was on the way back from Hana. Stopped in Charley's. No Willie, but pretty good food.

Durn---I got drawn in. I was trying to do my part to let this thread die.

If we let this thread die, someone will come along at some point and start another one. I'd rather have one than several dozen, that's for sure...

And I would think that certain aspects of the islands would be quite the draw for Willie. 😉

Lulu,
Don't let this thread die. I love KC! My kids turned me onto him. My kid works in management in Las Vegas and she can get me great tickets to see him any time he's at Mandalay Bay. I really wish he'd do his show out at the pool theatre instead of inside. He's better suited for outdoor entertianment!

Kenny, if you're reading this... check out the Fleur De lys restaurant at the Mandalay Bay....you're competitors show up there.
