Okay, I'll say in advance that I'm embarrased to post this but what the heck, i'm among friends!!!

I'm a Kenny Chesney fan and saw him in concert recently and while I was looking at some recent pictures that were posted on this sight the song about the "Old Blue Chair" of his came on my ITunes and so I'm wondering... have any of you ever seen him while vacationing there or know any interesting tid bits of his living there? Just random thinking on my part, but I do love how he describes the feeling of being on St. John in that song and mentions Cinnamon Bay and it added so much to looking at the pictures! I think at least one of his albums was written in great part while he was there. Anyone know anything that will fuel my interest?

Weary,

I know if I was a resident of St. John, I'd probably flatten all the tires of those Kenny Safari Trucks.

Sounds like you're having second thoughts about being business partners.

A super happy birthday to your son for doing the right thing.

Ronnie and I were born on the same day and the best we can come up with is that we were separated at birth. Not sure the entire details, but we've both been working on it for a few years. Maybe this year we'll come up with how it went down. Right bro?????

Promo,
Thanks for the "B" Day wishes, I'll pass them on. He'll be 28, and is a ParaRescue. My "baby" is a Navy man.

Weary,
I don't do "Star Home Maps", and "Safari" google trips. Sorry. The other stuff is fun, though.
I might be famous some day, and so might you. Have to be careful of folks peeking through the bushes, and such when we are-----it's so annoying. Ha!!!

I never lived there myself. But, would have to drive 3 hours each way to get my son to the Orthodontist there. Oh Lordy, I certainly don't miss those winter time appointments!

Weary,

I am totally surprised you never asked us to all chip in and buy a helicopter!!

thanks for the comments on my pictures. After 2 rum/cokes and 2 glasses wine before the concert, then a beer and a Cruzan Fusion at the concert, I couldn't even tell if the camera was focusing! Therefore, I took a lot of crappy pictures too. But I was having a good time heehee!

Have to agree with the no-hat thing not being a good look. Like i mentioned before, check out the You Save Me video. He looks like a turtle without a shell - but I still love him! 🙂

The girlfriend from the video is long gone. Or at least that's what I heard him say.

I don't recommend seeing him without the hat. Too many years on his boat with no sunscreen has done a number on his face, and with his hat pulled down low, you barely notice... He does kind of look turtle-ish too, now that you mention it.

So do I win anything for having the best shirt idea? I will be on ST. Thomas from July 7th to the 14th if I have to pick up my prize in person. Please let me know, so I can prepare my thank you speech.

Broke up with the GF. I am sure he will find many willing to be the GF for the night on tour:) Especially with those high powered binoculars they have to spot potential party girls 🙂

Not that it matters one iota in the real world, but in an interview several months ago, he said "I used to date this girl from Colombia." That sure does make it sound like they are broken up, and no one's seen them together since then.

I'm sure he's moved on to someone new by now, regardless. I wouldn't get all excited that he was single if I found him attractive or anything ...

Now hold on there Beer Hunter,

I liked "She thinks my island's Sexy", but how can a girlie wear a tee like that??
I know, I know, you are thinking that I must be a flamin' feminist, but hey, half of the population is us girlies.

Maybe, you should write a song. Or, go into the helicopter tour business with Weary.

How about a tee that says, "We love turles with or without cowboy hats".

Dream....You could easily change it to "He thinks my island is sexy" All you have to do is take the "S" off of She. I think you are trying to steal my thunder. I want my prize!!!

Interesting pictures Mountaineer girl, especially the crack that can be found at a Kenny Chesney concert. Who knew? 😉

(Did you notice it in the pic of you and your sis? ;))

I'll be going to his concert on Saturday. My husband isn't excited. But then he doesn't like country music. He's also a musician himself, so he's sort of a "music snob." *rolling my eyes* I just go to have fun, not to critique the show. Ugh.
