I heard some EXCELLENT news!
The original owners of Indigo's are taking over Deano's!!! Drove by yesterday and saw some work going on. This came from a reliable source. I am so excited as they are close to home! Yeah!
Sure hope they will sell those Mojito's and Bluwater's favorite sandwich?

Where is Deannos? We loved the old Indigo... We still love it, but we loved it before as well.

Hey Sherri,

I've been hoping their new venture would come together --- I am thrilled! If you hear anything about an opening date, please let me know. I wonder if they'll be changing the name...

Deano's - or whatever the new incarnation will be named -- is located on the N. side in Estate Dorothea just west of the Ag Station and Bryan's Nursery - on route 33 or Crown Mountain Road - it has previously been Hazel's ,Entree Nous, Nside Bar and Grille, Mutt and Jeffs, Ferrararis.

exit zero,
Thanks for answering the question!

I am guessing they will change the name for sure. When I find out more, I will pass along an update!

Deano's used to be "LuLu's"

It's over by Friendly Grocery

LuLu's -- Yeah I forgot that one - that was with Patricia L. who currently has Oceana - - - there are probably other ones that have slipped my mind over the years.

I thought Patricia went to Virgin Gorda and opened a restaurant there...after LuLu's????

I can remember specifically sitting in the bar area and speaking to her about moving from STT this was about 1999.

Hi Tippi,
Patricia opened up Oceana in Frenchtown where Charter House used to be and she seems to be doing quite well! Guess she decided not to go to Virgin Gorda after all.

Pat has had like 22 restaurants in all her years here. Oceana seems to be the best fit. Chart House did set the pace for that venue though.

Great news, Sherri! Hope they are open by the last week in January.

Deano is a great guy (a Minnesotan by birth, if I recall) and wish him all the best....

Am planning to stop in next time I see activity there. There is a sign saying "opening soon".
Yes I agree, all the best to Deano and his wife Cindy.

I would be so happy if they would include my favorite "legacy Indigo" sandwich: Black and Blue ("Blu").

dnt, are you keeping up with your standing ressie at the "new Indigo", or are you looking for a new home?

Hey Blu!

Haven't seen you post for awhile and figured you were busy making nuptial plans 😀

The new Indigo isn't our cup of tea on a number of levels. We found a substitute where we like the staff and setting, but we don't enjoy the food so we are really looking forward to R and K's post Indigo adventure.

Please say "Hi" to G for me!

I adore the hostess with the mostest, Heather, at Indigo so my island son is taking me there for my birthday dinner on the 8th. I hope I shan't be disappointed. Only went there once after the takeover and it was just "so so" - so we shall see!!

HAPPY SOON COME BDAY STT!!! Making 30 again? 😉 PS - just finished my bottle your pepper sauce - it was dark red at the last drop. You were right about the flavor over time - Yoooooweeeeee!!!!

Dnt, will tell G you said hello. You know we miss Indigo - and our favorite server, Kate.

Alas, hoping to get to the new spot soon. Worked my B U T T off at work (so, no trips) and got a significant promo over the summer. Now I get to work even harder - have more $$ - but less time to use any of it....oh, the irony.

Hoping to get down soon. Missing you all.
