It's about that time of year when the St. Thomas/St. John Dining Coupon books are printed. Will someone please notify us when they available?

Thanks in advance.
Gerie

Island Time I didn't know you could order the books by mail -- great to know.

I LOVE those Rotary coupon books. Last year I started out with one, and by the end of the summer had purchased a total of four.

For locals and tourists alike, the books are great. Purchasing one is a total win-win -- the proceeds from the books go to a good cause (local college scholarship fund) and those who purchase the books get to save $$$ while dining out at some great restaurants!

I am looking forward to buying some of these books again. Please let us know when they come out!!

🙂

We've been buying the coupon book for several years now, first we would try to find one while on island in Sept/Oct , but it started to become some what of a quest, most shops were sold out. We have freinds that vistit STT on August and they would pick up a book for us (thanks T&D), but it was getting difficult for them to buy the book. So, we noticed an order form in the back of the book and started mailing it in. We're not sure whom to contact to have one mailed w/o an order form, maybe someone local can answer that part.

Something we started doing a few years ago is, what ever coupons we didn't use we would give them to a bartender/server that we had a good time with that year as a "hey thanks" 🙂 it is always appretiated.

They are out!!!

The two places I purchased them from last year were:

John Foster Real Estate (East End office): 340.775.9000

Blade and Key in Red Hook: 340.775.3254

I am sure that there are several other locations where you can puchase them as well. Sometime soon, I am sure Ronnie or some other local Rotarian will update this post.

Best,
🙂 Mell

Hi everyone,

I called John Foster Real Estate today. They said the person who sells them is off-island and will return to the office around May 30.

I then called Blade and Key. They said they have the books in stock now, and will have them all summer. They are $25. They are located in Red Hook near the Water Taxi. I was told if you park in the parking lot across from the Water Taxi, you'll see Blade and Key.

Yes,

They are very easy to find. I went there on Tuesday and purchased two books. I will probably end up buying two or three more before summer is out. Lots of great coupons this year and just one or two dinner coupons pays for the entire book!!!

Hey, and if you have any knives that need sharpening bring them to Blade and Key as well. I have my good German knives sharpened there. They have a special machine that does a fabulous job and I get my knives back sharper than when they were brand new!

Best,
🙂 Mell

Has anyone posted a list of the participating restaurants this year?

I'd like to know what's available...lunch and dinner....

Anyone?

Much obliged!

Bluwater - I was wondering what restaurants are in there too.

When I called Blade and Key and asked for a few examples of restaurants in the book, I was just told that it was a very good selection.

Hopefully someone that has one of the books will post the answer!

Carole

Guys,

If you have this coupon book, please be kind enough to check and advise what time of day I can use my coupon at Meson Amalia in Charlotte Amalie.

Does it designate lunch or dinner?

Thanks! Muchas gracias...
