St. John is home to the Virgin Islands National Park which preserves about 3/4ths of the islands forest, it also includes thousands of acres of submerged lands and waters that contain a significant amount of coral reefs, shorelines and marine life. Guided Walking & Hiking Tours

Take a walking or hiking tour in the National Park with a professional and knowledgeable guide and learn about the islands history and ecology.

The National Park Service offers a guided hike of Reef Bay Trail. It is lead by a ranger and is a popular choice. It takes place every Monday and Thursday at 9:30 am. The schedule is subject to change based on demand. Enjoy learning about the secrets of St. John's tropical forest, petroglyphs and sugar mill ruins on this three-mile hike. Reservations are strongly recommended as space is limited. Contact the National Park Visitor's Center on St. John for more information.
