St. Thomas Activities: Eco-Tours

The Virgin Islands' beaches, coral reefs, historic ruins and forest provide endless hours of exploration and enjoyment on St. Thomas, as well as inspiration and opportunities for reflection. Visitors can enjoy a variety of activities on the land and in the water. Some visitors explore the on their own, while others prefer a guided tour. Tours include a guide that describes the history and ecology of the area as well as pointing out and interpreting the flora and fauna as you go along.

A unique, 3 hour multi-eco experience awaits you. Explore the wild delights of Cas Cay Wildlife Sanctuary by foot, kayak and snorkel in this action-packed adventure. Kayak among the many small islands of the Inner Mangrove lagoon. Hike the pristine, tropical island of Cas Cay, in the Virgin Islands Park System. Enjoy many breathtaking views and spectacular photographic opportunities at the famous Red Point Blow Hole amongst volcanic cliffs. Snorkel though an underwater paradise. Guides point out the marine life, interpret the diverse mangrove ecosystem and offer snorkeling instruction. Departs daily at 9:30am and 1:30pm. Reservations required.

Spend the day at Coral World Ocean Park and get up close and personal with the beauty and magic of Caribbean marine life in a stunning setting. Learn about life on a coral reef from the unique Undersea Observatory and about local conservation efforts in one of our interactive presentations. Pet a shark, hand feed a stingray or a rainbow lorikeet! There are several gift shops, cafes and shower facilities. Additional activities include Sea Lion activities, Sea Trek Helmet Dive, Snuba Diving, Shark and Turtle Encounters, and the Nautilus Semi-Submarine. Located next to Coki Beach. Open 9-4 daily, November - May. Summer schedule will vary.
