St. Thomas Beach Guide - East End

Beach ViewThere's a beach on the East End of St. Thomas for everyday of the week, and a few extra. The area's rolling, semiarid hillsides and its beaches are known for gorgeous views of glistening turquoise water dotted by sailboats and neighboring islands. It is home to resorts, condos, residences and offices; all of which is anchored by Red Hook. There you'll find visitors and residents alike shopping, dining and bellying up to a bar for happy hour!

Beaches include: small, pretty Sugar Bay; palm-fringed Cowpet Bay; sheltered Secret Harbor; and quiet Water Bay. Great Bay is home to picturesque Bluebeards Beach and Turtle Cove. Nearby is delightfully un-crowded Vessup Bay. There are cruise-shipper favorites Coki Point and Sapphire Beach. And part of Smith Bay Park, Lindquist Beach.

Getting Around: You can catch a taxi to and from resort beaches. Other beaches can be accessed by taxi however you may need to arrange return pick-up. Public transportation is an option for some. Beach hopping by rental car is super easy; the East End beaches are all within 2-10 minutes driving time from each other.
