Sprat Bay has a very tropical, uninhabited feel. That’s in part because of its natural beauty; coconut palms and other trees close to the water for example; and in part because there is usually no one on the beach. The beach is within a gated community. If you are staying within Sprat Bay Estate then you have access to the beach, or you can visit by boat. The water is calm with an occasional surf. The beach has soft white sand with some rocky areas toward the end of the bay. No amenities are available on the beach so it is necessary to bring drinks and snacks with you.
Sprat Beach--Beautiful and quiet
Sprat Beach is very beautiful. Palm trees offer shade. There are many flowering trees and plants. The water is clear. There is great snorkeling. It is almost always empty as land access is private. There are private facilities for owners and guests.
Sprat Beach, no fun
Sprat Beach is full of pebbles and there are stinging Jellyfish in the water. You can access it from the sea but by land you have to go through a private community that owns all the facilities at the beach, and the community residents are not friendly about non residents being there. Not very relaxing.
