*My husband and I are planning a vacation May 22-29 in St. Croix. We are interested in renting a scooter or moped. Where would I find places who rent them as well as rates?

There used to be two places that rented scooters on St. Croix... late last year I checked on this and neither was operating. One, located in Christiansted, still had the signs up saying scooter rentals but was only doing mechanic work.

St. Croix is a large island and a car is your best transportation, so without the scooter option you might consider a jeep or car.
