Traveling between the islands of St. Thomas and St. John is easy aboard a ferry. There are two ferry routes available: Red Hook, St. Thomas to Cruz Bay, St. John; and Crown Bay, St. Thomas to Cruz Bay, St. John. Look at the VInow map below for a visual of the routes and docking locations. Here are a few things to note: docking locations all have official names that are hardly used, and common names that everyone knows; Crown Bay, St. Thomas is closer to the airport than is Red Hook, St. Thomas; and Cruz Bay has two docking locations for ferries: the Cruz Bay Ferry Dock and The Creek.
