St. Thomas – Virgin Gorda Ferry Schedule

Virgin Gorda is a popular island-hopping destination in the Virgin Islands. Maybe you are wondering: Is ferry service between St. Thomas and Virgin Gorda available again? The great travel news is that direct ferry service from St. Thomas (USVI) to Virgin Gorda (BVI) will resume on March 2nd, 2023. Service will be available once a week, on Thursdays.

Travel between the US Virgin Islands and British Virgin Islands is international, you are required to clear customs/immigration on both sides of the trip, and there are port fees and departure taxes.

Port Fees and Taxes: Port fees and departure taxes are generally not included in the cost of your ferry tickets. They include USVI Port Fee $10, BVI Environment Fee $10 and BVI Departure Tax $20 ($15 BVI resident). These fees are subject to change by their respective governmental authorities, they are not regulated by the ferry operators. When purchasing ferry tickets take note which port fees and government taxes, if any, are included in your ticket purchase.
