I am 18 years old, and my family is taking me to St. Thomas for one last vacation before I go off to college. Now, I am excited and all but I am also going to be with my FAMILY, including my little 13 and 11 year old sister and brother......help what is there for me to do.....will I meet girls and guys my age?

There is lots to do. Depending on where you stay you might meet others your age yes. You can go out to clubs if you want, and if your folks let you. The age here is 18. There are lots of watersports. Perhaps you might consider seeing if one of your girl-friends might want to go and can afford to pay the ticket to go with your family - and if your family would allow this. What do you like to do, swim, lay on the beach....

You might want to bring along a friend just in case. Fares from PHL are now less than $250 roundtrip to STT.

Ahhhh..... to be 18 again. 🙁 Oh well.....

There are a lot of activities. Snorkling, snuba, scuba, kayaking, paragliding, hiking, shopping, ogling and a whole lot of other 'tings.

Explore, enjoy, have a blast, meet people, have fun. Remember, college is right around the corner.

I know Cherri, I sort of cringed after I posted it. 🙂 but 18 is the legal age, the clubs here aren't that crazy. She might have fun at Duffy's Love Shack, usually lots of people that age there, especially during christmas and summer breaks when kids come home from college.

Don't worry you'll have an unbelievable time!!! You definitly gotta ditch the rents though. My advice after my experience last summer would be to check out duffy's on friday and saturday. But don't go till late (like 12 especially saturday). If you can't bring anybody down to chill with find some people on the beach or somewhere and hook up with them. I'd also try to make arrangement to not return to your folks till 'round midday the next day at the earliest so you can recover!!!! BTW, I'll be turning 18 too this May so I can finally go down and live it up the legal way!!!! HAVE FUN!!!!

PS - what month will you be down there?
