My wife and I will be visiting St.Thomas for the 1st time in a couple of weeks. We are staying at the Frenchman's reef. My question is when we arrive at the airport, do we need to arrange for a taxi or will there be plenty of them to take us to the Marriott resort?

Hey JAM, You will find the taxis just outside of baggage claim. They are usually open air savannahs that they load up with people along various routes. There is a link at the top of this page.

JAM-

Yes you will find many taxis. It is kind of confusing too. Just remember to tell the man outside at the taxi stand where you are going. He will put you with a taxi driver that is taking other guests in that same direction. Then relax until you get loaded onto the taxi. It is confusing and a little stressful and it takes time. You will be on island time so be patient.
