Is there any place on St. Croix to get "3 Vodka"? It is a brand available here in the states. They have a Black Raspberry flavor that is just wonderful. I hate to lug bottles in luggage but i do not want to go 2 weeks without my favorite beverage. Thanks.

I've tried it but prefer the 3 Vodka. I will be suprised if it is available but thought I would ask anyway. I hope the KMart at Sunny Isle has it. I love the booze prices there...

Another place you might have luck is the Cost-U-Less, east of Sunny Isle on Route 70. You could call ahead to both K-Mart and CUL and check - CUL: 340-719-4442 - K-Mart: Sunny Isle: 340-719-9190 and Sunshine Mall (Route 70, nearer the west end): 340-692-5848. If you have a US long distance plan, the VI should be included (it is on our AT&T).

How do you bring back booze from St Croix? Can you still carry on the plane like the old days??

you only can carry on if you buy it after the security check point. other wise they will package it at some stores to check on. We did this t2 weeks ago and every thing made it fine.

Just came back from STX last Friday. Bought our liquor at K-Mart and Cost-U-Less where they packaged it in the liquor in carry boxes holding six bottles. K-Mart now charges for the box - I think it was $.99. Even the food stores, like Plaza Extra, have the liquor boxes. We brought one box back n a duffel now empty from the coolers we brought down with food and left one as was. We made the 50# weight limit with the small duffel and AA marked it with "heavy" and "fragile" tags for us. We had a return address label taped on the liquor box and we marked it all over with our initial in red marker so we could identify it quickly to pull it off the conveyor "on the other side of the wall" to go to TSA screening after we went through passport control. No problems. We declared the 12 bottles (6 each) on our customs declaration and there was no issue. TSA taped up the box for us very securely with TSA Tape. Everything arrived intact as we wrapped each bottle with swim trunks, t-shirts. We've been bringing liquor back for over 20 years and have never had an breakage, knock wood - lol.
