FYI - I placed two call to AAA about my auto insurance coverage in the USVI and both times was told my policy did not cover me there. Not liking the answer I got and lacking confidence in the people I spoke to I looked through my policy and low & behold there it was - The US and it's territories as well as Canada. Just to make sure I placed a third call to AAA and this time I spoke to a young man who took the time to confirm with the underwriters and yes AAA automobile insurance does offer coverage in the USVI.
You will want to get that in writing from them, just in case something does happen. I asked my agent to forward to me the letter that she got from the underwriters. I just feel better having the actual note from the underwriter than if I had rely on a phone conversation. I hope I never need it.....
