I plan on visiting St. Thomas with my wife in November of 2006. We want to stay at secret harbor. I am disabled-walk with a cane, left side paralyzed. Is this a place I would want to vacation-what is there to do?
Thank you for your assistance.
John

Secret Harbor has handicapped accessible rooms - right on the beach. I would suggest you ask for one of those rooms. From what I understand they aren't TRULY handicapped-accessible inside, but they do a much better job than other resorts. I also understand those rooms are cheaper.

There is snorkeling, and the dive shop on property is the ONLY shop equipped to handle disabled people, for diving or snorkeling. The owner is a HSA (Handicapped Scuba Association) instructor and has a great deal of training in that area.

If you have any specific questions, just ask! 🙂
