Well... the cisterns will be full, and the island will be looking a lot greener after all the rain we've been getting. Reminds me of some of our "up nort" beach vacations where we've had to spend days indoors reading....

A rainy day on vacation is better than a sunny day at the office!

Ahh, but us folk who live here are blessing this rain! Yay! Even those of us that only own bikes! Haha!

The rain sloshed up through the rust holes and created a pond on the floor of my truck. I love rainy weeks, I'm not complaining! And there will be water in the falls again!

Yeah... I understand the rain was really needed. The grass around our property is green again! Hell, we're from Michigan, where if you wait five minutes the weather will change.

Just wondering how many days has it been raining? How much rain have you had? Hope this ends your draught and makes the islands green again.

This is our third day of rain in a week - and I'm talking all-day/all-night rain. Rain enough to turn Hull Bay from blue to tan.

It's a bummer when you get that much rain on vacation. Last May we were on Tortola for 2 weeks. I think we had 3 or 4 sunny days total. We sat under stalled weather fronts with a day or so inbetween. UG ;-( We read lots of books and reminded ourselves that the locals needed the rain to fill their cisterns.

Church of one,
hope this didn't damper your vacation too much! We needed the rain yes, but I sure was shocked at how it came down! Tho it is still cloudy at the moment and we will more than likely get more rain tonight, it is supposed to clear up tomarrow! Hope the rest of your day is sunny! 🙂

I checked weather.com and it looks like you'll have only 40% chance of rain and we all know what that means in the Virgin Islands. I think you'll be fine and I'm sure you're still having a great time. Relax and enjoy!

Tomorrow is getaway day. 🙁 Today, which is our anniversary, we spent finding a doctor and pharmacy for Mr. Church 🙁 so his poor head doesn't explode on the plane tomorrow. But we DID get to have dinner at Indigo this evening.

A rainy, sick day on vacation is STILL better than a sunny day at the office!

Church of one,
Looks like this will be a vacation while painful now, you will laugh about it 10 years from now! Keep up the positive attitude!
