We are renting a car through Amalie Car Rental for the week. They told me they will be charging our card 48 hours prior to departure. Does anyone know if there will be any other fees or do we need to give them a credit card for anything? Is there anything I should expect when we get there? Just trying to make sure I have all details covered and am not forgetting anything.

You need to check directly with them.
Also ask if you can take their rental on the barge to St. John for the day.
Some agencies do not allow this.

Amalie do allow their cars on the barge to St John - I know as I live on St. John and rented a car from them for a week a week ago when we had family in town and needed a car as my jeep lost its transmission. Great people and I highly recommend (from my experience with them last week) renting from them
