Reading about WAPA's water problems on STT, it is clear that is a really messed up operation. Sounds like WAPA management all used to work for the City of Detroit :D. Are the water problems in STT affecting STJ or does STJ make it's own water?

Julie - There was actually water coming out of the taps in Town, Frenchtown and Havensight by Friday afternoon AND it stayed flowing all night - solved ?? - but currently operating.
WAPA is recommending that everyone boil any water for human consumption for at least the next 48 hrs as the line may contain bacteria from tha lack of use and pressure.

I'm glad to hear the water is flowing again! I hope they can keep it that way. And yes, I would boil or not use the water for cooking or drinking. My cistern and pump too shots out some pretty gross stuff after it has run dry. Let us know if things take a turn for the worse over there.

Wapa returns to rationing. Water is limited to residential complexes in effort to allow users with large cisterns to replenish supplies.

This is better than no water at all. Wapa planned to convert production to a new plant late in 2012.

Fingers crossed....
