Could someone tell me how you can make an Avatar? How I can take a picture and make it small enough to be accepted?

Did it once, but just can't figure it out. Do I have to go to a special website? Or, can I go to one of the programs I have on my computer and do it that way.

OK Connie....1st you need to know how big the board says you can have them , because everyone has different requirements.
Then I Googgled Avatar Resizing & it took me to a website that will do it for you....way cool!!

I was able to resize mine on Picasa. I copied and pasted it once I got the location in My Documents.
