Going to do a bare site at CB for a few days with my college age kids on spring break. Any ideas about how and where to send tents, sleeping bags, stoves, etc ahead of time so as not to have to carry on the plane? What is available for rent locally? This is an experiment. Gonna spend the rest of the week at Maho. Can't wait.

Also where can I buy butane for our stoves on the island?

For the butane question I would guess that you might find that at St John Hardware. They are located in the Marketplace in the upper parking lot (above the Starfish market).
I assume that CB is Cinnamon Bay Camps. Have you checked with them to see if you can ship items to them and have them hold them?
I don't know if they will handle tents/sleeping bag size packages but Connections does handle pre-shipped packages.
Where ever you ship, I would arrange for a delivery confirmation of some sort so you know that your stuff is there when you arrive.

Good luck and have a great trip.
