Does anyone know of anywhere on STJ where you can rent beach chairs. I know some villas have them available when you rent. We stay at the westin but the last time I checked they don't have chairs to take to other beaches.

Thanks for your help

You can rent beach chairs at Trunk Bay and Cinammon...but that doesn't help if you want to hit the other beaches.

Our last stay at the Westin they didn't offer charis so we bought some at the hardware store next door to the Starfish Market and just left them for the maid when we headed home. We're old enough that the chairs really make a difference at the beach, so for us the $60-$70 investment for a "throw away" was well worth it.

I purchase the folding lounge chairs (the loungers not the chairs) here in the Philly area at CVS or even K-mart for anywhere from $10 for the vinyl strap to $20 for the weave type. Wrap them in clear plastic and use duct tape around it and even fashion a handle with the duct tape. I write on the duct tape my name and flight number and then check them as baggage. At the end of our time in STT I either leave them on the beach or in the room. Have done this twice a year for the last three years.

Lounge chair rentals usually run close to $10 a day. So I've more than paid for the loungers.
