Going to St. John in august. I was wondering if the islands produced any local beer? Also, can you buy cuban cigars on the islands??

You can't get Cuban cigars in the USVI. You would have to make atrip over to the BVI. The only place that actually brews beer in the USVI is Ft Christian Brewpub on St Croix. You will see some bottled Blackbeard Ale, Foxy's Lager & Virgin Islands Pale Ale but they are brewed & bottled in the states. Foxy's on Jost Van Dyke was brewing in small draft batches.
