We are looking to stay at the Island Beachcomber Resort since It is close to the airport and possible walkable (?). Looking to purchase many cases of beer to keep in our room to bring to the beach. Can you help us, in where to purchase Bud Lite & the prices.
Hick-up! Thanks

You can easily walk to Pueblo in Sub Base and take a taxi back -- there are also a few convenience stores only a few minutes walk out on the Highway.

We were just there for 4 weeks and found that the Pueblo in Sub Base was usually out of Miller Lite. Don't remember the price when they had it. Cost U Less had it for 18.95 for two 12 packs. Bud Light is usually comparable in price. We bought beer at Gourmet Gallery in Crown Bay Marina which is closer to the Island Beachcomber but it was substantially higher in price. The price you pay in paradise.

Most of the bars and convenience stores sell Coors Light. Bud Light isn't that popular down here. Presidente, a popular beer from the Dominican Republic, recently came out with a light version, so you may want to try that if Bud Light isn't available.
