...ah...intimacy?

Any suggestions from those with past experience?

Thanks!

Surprised we haven't had any posts on this one. The obvious choice would be a private (preferably secluded) villa (with an outdoor shower/hot tub/pool). For the more adventerous, I would opt for a secluded beach on the East End. I would be weary of no-see-ums and other critters though....not the places I would like insect bites! 🙂

Lots of ideas..... 😉 - experienced and yet to be planned. There are quite a few places on many of the beaches where one can have 'privacy' day or night...some have more privacy than others. I don't want to give away all my seekrets tho 🙂 East end definately, though. Not Lindquist tho. Personally I wouldn't feel safe there at night...but that's just me

Ummm...no personal experience here (mosquitoes seem to love me!). Buuuuuut, maybe walk to the far left of Sapphire (left if you are facing the water)...you come to a secluded area of the beach. I say this because some of the more remote beaches (those with a challenging access) wouldn't be safe.

I recall there being a tourist rape on Linquist a few years back. I am sorry of I have this wrong..but I don't think so. I thought I heard she was with her husband when it happened.

Also, keep in mind, some of the remote beaches (I don't know which ones) are used by drug traffickers for late night drop offs. The USVI is a stop-over point for international trafficking and is a big entry point for US drug trade. I have some native islander friends who wouldn't go near some of the beaches at night for that reason...not even a moonlit walk. Beaches with resorts on them are fine...but the others - no. The area Coki beach parking lot area and the water on either sides of that point are especially notorious for drops.

On the other hand...the Ritz has huge balconies that are secluded :0 And villas are excellent for privacy 🙂

Teehee - Bluwater....the far left at Sapphire was one I had in mind. The far right at Secret Harbor is also another one. Who says you gotta wait for nighttime anyway ;)...

There was a rape at Linquist a few years back - but the one I know about was a local, and the victim is someone I know personally. I don't know ALL the details...and hesitate to share anything.

Did we determine if Loren was looking in STT, STJ or STX?

Try Vessup Beach on STT --- Very Secluded at night. Also Soloman on STJ - used to be the nude beach.

Many of the beaches are pretty secluded at night - noone will bother you - even if they see you.

In a word: St. John. Whoops. I guess that's two words.

St. John is so sparsely populated and is so off the main tourist track that it's very romantic. If you're on the eastside, it can feel like you have the entire island to yourself.

I rented Seawing several years ago for my 20th anniversary, and it was the most romantic vacation possible. The outdoor shower is private and romantic. The deck front deck is pretty secluded, and the place is just wonderful for 2 people.

During the day, you'll have many beaches virtually to yourself. I can't imagine there's anything more romantic than a white sand beach, turqouise and cobalt blue water, the warm tropical breeze and being with your honey.

If there is, let me know!

JFP
