I heard that the service is bad, but that may be because it is a brand new place....

You'd think a new place would go out of its way to provide good service and start off on the right foot!

I couldn't stand the noise and fumes from the traffic - it is built on the old AYH gas station location - is right on the road and very exposed to dust from the construction in Red Hook.
Location = F Food and drinks = no idea

We have dinner reservations on Saturday the 16th for 9 of us. I'll let you know what our review is. I've only heard great things and that it is giving Duffy's a run for there money. I hope that the fumes aren't as bad as you've mentioned Exit Zero, Duffy's also has a funky smell to it as well . Kind of a dirty, musty smell. I hope that the bathrooms are better there!

Have been there twice. Burgers are good, prices reasonable - service is still very challenged. Their choices in wait staff could have been better. If you sit in the back, there is no road noise or fumes. It is CASH only at this point

As with any new place, need to work out the "bugs" - service is the #1 issue

A friend of mine stopped in there the other evening to take a look. She ordered a Stoli and club and after ten minutes waiting was told they had no Stoli. Changed it to Absolut and after a wait was told they had none of that either. All they had were two high-end vodkas and she was charged quite a bit less than one would find anywhere else but figured she was given a break because they didn't have those staples in stock. One of the bartenders had some mileage on island, the other seemed to be a rank newbie and the service was very slow.

She took a look at the limited menu and it seemed mostly sandwich fare, burgers. Her comment was that although it looked as though a lot of money had gone into the place, the service wasn't up to par and she was also surprised that all the drinks and the food were served in/on disposable plastic. Hopefully they can get it all sorted out!

I have friends who went last Saturday. They walked out after being ignored for a bit and snippily being told no food was being served. Sounds like a great idea: a bar and restaurant where you can't get drinks OR food! *-)
