We love Bolongo, we've been there 4 times in the last two years and will be going back this november again!

We've had the value rooms, oceanview rooms and beachfront rooms, but the rooms are really irrelevant as you shouldn't be in them anyway 🙂

The rooms are clean and typical Island fare, tile floors small bathrooms, tiny showers, water pressure less than desirable.

As for the resort itself, its our fave place to stay. Last trip it was 20 steps from our door to the water. the staff there is fantastic, they always seem happy to see you and are glad that you're there. Two restaurants on site, pool, lots of water toys and beautiful beach.

The beach is typical, first 3 steps into the water you're going ouch ouch ouch until you get past the rocks then you're good to go. Saw some cool fish, including barry-cuda last trip.

Hubby and I do the european plan, we don't eat/drink enough to pay for the all inclusive, and you bill it all to the room anyway so you pay at checkout so its just as easy as all inc.

Would I recommend it? absolutely! We toured a bunch of other resorts and timeshares while we were there, yet we keep going back to bolongo. Its a great family owned resort that makes you feel like you're home.

If I can be of further assistance drop me a note! [email protected]

The beach at Bolongo is OK but getting out and about is half the fun of being in the islands and you'll find much better beaches on both St Thomas and St John. The accommodations are basic, a little dated but perfectly adequate and it really all depends what you're looking for. Cheers!

Ingrid: The nicest thing about Bolongo is that it is the old-style Caribbean, low buildings and family-owned and operated. If you need fancy-dancy stuff, you'll be disappointed, but if you are into relaxing and enjoying, it is a great place. I love going to Iggie's for lunch or happy hour- right on the beach, tropical breeze in your face.

Also, if you need another restaurant, Mim's is next door with great seafood specialties.:-)
