Is St Thomas getting a butterfly farm? If so, does anybody know where? There's an ad in Island Trader to recruit employees, so it must be opening soon. I've been wanting to visit one of these for years, and now I won't have to go to Costa Rica or St Martin.

I know that the farm will be located somewhere in Havensight. The people opening it are the same people who own a few others - including the one in St Martin. I'm excited to go, I bet it's a cool thing!

Butterfly farms are so cool. There's on in Key West and we went twice in one day!!!

Hopefully, somebody has some information on this because it's a must go.

The Butterfly Farm is in its' final construction phase at Havensight, towards the ocean end of the dock...hang a left when you enter the main gate (past the stores)...it's a lovely pale yellow building on the left, with lots of mesh fencing in the back. Looks like it'll be tons of fun!

Somehow I wouldn't think a "farm" would be in a yellow building - maybe it's a butterfly greenhouse (or in this case yellowhouse?)

That's a coup for Havensight - an attraction that people can just walk to straight from the ship. I'm anxious to see it since I missed the one in Costa Rica.

There used to be a butterfly gallery on Main Street. It was sort of like a butterfly showcase - NOT live butterflies - but a collection of various butterflies, some being really huge. They were mostly displayed in cases.

While on STT this time, I asked Sherri if she knew if it was still there. A woman told me that it was now in Havensight. We drove through, but never saw it. However, it IS on the map of Havensight.

I am not sure of what this new butterfly place will be. I'm thinking that it won't be what Ms411 has in mind.
