Does a US drivers license suffice for car rentaL on BVI?

Hello,
I just returned from Tortola and rented a car there. You have to pay ten dollars for a temporary license that is good for thirty days. If you haven't already chosen a car rental agency I recommend Deadman's car rentals or taxi service. The owner is James Pickering and is a native of the island. The numbers to the agency are (284)-495-2041 or (284)-496-7979. Give it a try and have fun!
