We are looking to take a day sail this year to either Jost or Virgin Gorda (from Red Hook). Can someone enlighten me on the departure tax/customs fee? In the article below and according to the BVI tourism site, it says $15/pp. However, when you go on the websites of the many boating companies, they list anywhere from $25-$40. Has anyone taken one of the inter-island ferries? Those state that the fee isn't included in the trip, so would you then be paying $15? So confusing to me and this is the sole reason we've just simply avoided going to any of these places. Any help is greatly appreciated!
